Child safety standards

These standards apply to every app Bregox AS publishes, and to everyone who uses them. They matter most in our club app, where people run private clubs and groups and share messages, photos, posts and events with the other members.

We do not tolerate child sexual abuse or exploitation

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is prohibited in our apps, in any form. That includes:

• child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video or text that shows or describes the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a person under 18;
• grooming: building contact with a child in order to sexually abuse or exploit them;
• sexualising children, including sexual comments about a child;
• sextortion, and trafficking a child for sexual purposes;
• using our apps to find, share, request or arrange access to any of the above.

These standards apply whatever the age of the people involved. Our club app is for adults: you must be 18 or older to use it.

How to report

In the club app. On the message, photo, post or profile, choose Report, then Child safety. Child-safety reports go straight to the Bregox team, never to a club's admins. The person you report is never told who reported them.

Without the app, or from any of our apps. Email safety@bregox.com with the subject Child safety. Tell us where the content is: the app, the club or group, the username, and roughly when it was posted. Do not attach, forward or copy the material itself.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police straight away. In Norway, call 112.

What we do

• In the club app, a child-safety report hides the reported content for everyone at once, while our team reviews it, and our team is alerted immediately.
• When we become aware of child sexual abuse material, we remove it and report it to the police.
• We terminate the accounts responsible, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
